Notifications and music tabs continuously popping up

Hello,

My notifications and music tabs continue to pop up and it’s annoying and killing my battery. I have read through others having the same issue and I have attempted to restart my blaze, with no success. Do you have any other tips? Or will you replace this faulty product or how should I proceed?

Thanks

Hi there @Mannsss! 🙂 Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums!

I'm sorry to hear that your notifications and music tab is popping up all of a sudden several times. I'm not sure what could be causing this and thanks a lot for trying to restart your tracker.  There's something else that can be attempted and it is setting up your tracker as a new device and see if this makes any difference.

First, make sure that you've synced your tracker to ensure you won't lose any information. After that, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem and hopefully the notifications and music tab will no longer appear without you pulling it up.

Let me know if you need more help with this!

I wanted to let you know that yesterday, I started experiencing the same issue.  It appears your suggestion of creating a new device worked for me too.

Thanks

Ferdin,

Another update.  When I originally created a new device, the condition seemed to be solved for a few hours then it came back.  I have now turned off the Bluetooth on my iPhone, the condition continues.  It pops up the last text message received by the Blaze.  If I clear all the messages, it tells me there are no new notifications continuously, at random

What I believe is happening is the lower right button is sticking.  I can reset my Blaze by simply holding down the left button.  Even if the notifications don't pop up, the face stays lit up and the stop watch will randomly start and when I try to stop it, it bounces between Pause & Play continuously

I am having the same problem with notifications.  I have removed the Blaze and added it as a new device twice.  All notifications have been cleared but the message "All Caught up!" continues to pop up.  Notifications are turned off.

I’m having same problem. Any solution? It appears less likely to occur when Blaze fully charged but charge is lost quickly. Didn’t expect to have to charge device fully every day.

I am having the same problem and it has been happening over the past 2-3 weeks.  I have tried everything that has been posted in this string and in all of the other strings that are discussing the same issue.  Is it a software issue?  Can you do something for us?

I've had the same problem start to occur over the past week. Looks like the top right hand button is sticking on mine.

My Blaze also acts like the right top button is sticking when it is doing this continuous alert about notifications.  It also has a half moon in the top right corner of the screen but the button doesn't seem to be physically stuck.  When it is not acting up, the half moon is gone.  It has been in a bag of rice for two days now to see if that will make it work better.

Although, it seems like this might be more than a coincidence that this exact failure mode is happening to so many people at the same time....

I’m pretty sure it’s the buttons shorting out under the rubber coverings. I see the half moon on the top button sometimes but mostly the bottom.  I have tried to not get my wet but doesn’t seem to matter. When I sweat a lot, it happens too
