My phone showed text messages yesterday, but wouldn't let me read them.  I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and use the Messag+.  Now, it won't even show any of the text messages on the Blaze and when I go into the settings up the Blaze itself, the Notifications option is just gone.

 

I don't have music on my phone, I have it on my iPod.  I am now realizing that if I want to go on a hike or a run, to actually use the GPS, I need to bring my phone, iPod, and the watch.  This seems like a total waste of money and super unimpressed so far.  

 

If I can't use the text messaging or any of the music options, any of the other fit bits make way more sense.!

I have a Galaxy S5 with no problems.

First realize the Bluetooth in the Blaze can only connect to one device at a time.,so you'll need to get away from the iPad or turn it's BT off.

If the option for notifacation has disappeared, I would delete and then install Fitbit.

Message+ has been found not to work, there is a thread on this already. You'll need to choose another program. Then you have to go into your messenger program and turn on notifacation. Now go to your phones settings notifacations applications and show all while locked. For the calander you need to set notifacations to pop-up.

As for music this would be your decision on where to store it, personally I find the phone easier to carry. With my 32 gig card there is plenty of room.
