Notifications off- silent alarms do not alarm

I wear my Fitbit to bed, and I don't like to be interrupted by the notifications coming in from calls/texts since I sleep during the day. I also set alarms for myself on the Fitbit because I enjoy that it isn't as obtrusive to wake up to as a normal alarm. Unfortunately, when I turn notifications off my alarms do not alarm. Is there any way around this? Can this be fixed in a next update?

I haven't tried it, but from what I understand is the Blaze should honor the "do not disturb" setting.

Yes, if on iOS at least, if you turn on do not disturb you receive the notifications, but with no vibrations.
