I hope someone can solve this mystery. I am trying to track macros - will likely have to leave Fitbit for this because there is still no grams showing on the app and it looks like people have been asking for this for more than 3 years. At any rate, every day, I religiously track ever bite I eat. At the end of the day, I see the total calories, plus the grams of protein, carbs and fats (when I log in on my computer). So, I run the calculations 9Xfat grams, 4X protein and carbs. The calories never add up. How is this possible. Today, my Fitbit said I had 1650 calories, but when I calculated the calories based on grams I ate of the three macro nutrients, it said that I had eaten over 1700 calories. AAARRRGGGHH! No! No wonder I am not losing weight since I am tracking this is driving me nuts.
Can someone explain why there is such a huge discrepancy?

It's great to see you around @dlkagy123.
I appreciate the feedback provided about food logging, take a look at the Macros in grams in the app as well request, vote for it and leave your comment. Also, for more information about food logging, I recommend checking the How do I track my food with Fitbit? article.
Let me know if you need anything else.
