Phone Automatic Date & Time

Hi All,
Just picked up my first ever fitness watch... a Blaze. All appears to be OK and I am happy with everything so far except for one gripe.
I like to set the time on my phone (and everything else I have - other normal watches, clocks etc to a time that is approx. 8-10 minutes faster than true time. Hence, on my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+, I have the system settings for date and time NOT using the network provided time.
The fitbit app constantly errors "incorrect date and time" and will not sync the time I want to the Blaze. The only way I can fix this is to check the phone settings to use the network provided time. Why does the fitbit app need to sync with my network's provided time and can't/won't sync with my manually set time? My daughter's Garmin VivosmartHR syncs with whatever time she wants to set her phone time to.
Any help would be great. Thanks.

Hey @trienly888. Welcome to the Fitbit Community! 🙂

I'm not sure if this will help but whenever you go into your account settings on the Fitbit app, you should see an option that says "Advanced Settings" Once you tap on it, the first option you will see will be Time Zone. The option to "Set automatically" should be enabled so make sure to turn it of and this should make your tracker to take the time on your phone that you set manually.

Let me know if this works.
