Migrated from Samsung Galaxy S7 to Google pixel 3 last week. Everything except text messages sync up. Tried everything in help forums. Text messages just don't sync. Please help

I have the same problem with my pixel 2xl after the last app update. I have submitted a ticket, they escalated it but I still have no response. That was 3 weeks ago.
