My husband and my Fitbit Blaze charge will not last more than a day! We have done all of the suggested steps. I put both Fitbits on the charger last night. At 6:32am both had full charge. It is now 4:00pm and BOTH Blaze are dead! I have done all of the suggested fixes for BOTH Blaze. I also turned everything off. What good is the Charge HR if you cant get you notifications nor track heart rate during a run?
Please tell me Fitbit has a fix for this. I think it is ridiculous that the company has not put out anything despite all of the complaints. It only took one simple google search to figure out I am not alone in my frustrations. Please provide some resolution!

I have the same problem along with sluggish syncing. Seems to be a Bluetooth connectivity issue that many users are reporting. I restarted the Blaze 3 times, turned-on all day sync, restarted the Blaze, turned off all day sync, restarted the Blaze and it seems to have improved battery life. Also, do not separate your phone from your Blaze more then 20 feet. That seems to be causing syncing issues which is causing the battery to drain real fast.
Open a chat session with support and explain to them that multiple users are suddenly experiencing the same problem.

Exactly the problem I’m encountering. Charging it fully over night and by 1 or 2 it’s flashing telling me to charge it. Not good enough.

I found a work around on battery life. After you fully charge and sync the Blaze, turn off "always connected" and the Bluetooth on your phone. Something has gone goofy in the database causing errors during the sync process which results in heavy battery drain. Hopefully the bug gets fixed. My battery life suddenly dropped to 12 hours. Disabling the Bluetooth communications except when syncing has restored battery life back to normal.
btw. I do digital embedded development as an electronic engineer in the Aerospace industry and also an EXTRA class HAM radio operator.

Your skin oil and sweat in presence of charging voltage WILL corrode the contacts.

I am using Nordic Semiconductor's "NRF" Bluetooth analysis app to take a closer look at what is going on with the communications between my Blaze and my phone.

If that's the issue then it would be nice for Fitbit to simply offer that work around. There is no point of having a Fitbit without the notifications. No one says let me spend $200 so I can tell time. They buy a Fitbit for all of the features they are now telling people to turn off!
OAN I turned off all day synch. Turned off notifications and still did not make it 24hrs with one charge.

My "fix" is strictly a temporary work around. FitBit does have updated firmware getting rolled out. Wait and see if it fixes it.

Good luck with getting any help with the malfunction. I have tried all of the 'fixes'. Emailed Fitbit only to have them come back and say..... Yes your $200 Fitbit is broken but since you are ONE MONTH out of your warranty we can't do anything to fix your Fitbit you have barely owned for a year. To add insult they 'generously' offered me 20% off my next Fitbit Purchase. Please tell me WHY I would buy another faulty $200 Fitbit?!? Why would I buy another defective product? I guess I will bite the bullet and buy a REALIBLE Apply watch.

I will wait and see if firmware version 17.8.402.3 fixes the problem. What I have noticed is battery drain increases rapidly during the syncing process. I also have access to a EMI chamber which can be used to verify my suspicions of constant syncing along with measuring the approximate output of the Blaze's Bluetooth transmitter.
If the new firmware does not fix the syncing and battery life issues then I will be selecting a different vendor for fitness trackers.

Ever since they had the invalid certifiate issue on 27 Sept 2017 this problem seems to be getting much worse very quickly. Ionic owners are starting to report battery life and syncing issues also. Up until recently my only gripe with the Blaze and FitBit was the hoky charging arrangement with the Blaze and the rather ugly frame. Both issues were resolved by third-party vendors selling charging stands and better looking frames. Minor issues. Battery life was excellent, syncing was excellent.
All of a sudden these issues come up. Show stopping issues.
And it's across several phone platforms. Not just S8's which was a Samsung issue.
Like I posted earlier, I hope that this is resolved in the new firmware update.
