Pound classes

I've attended a few pound classes recently. Yesterday, my blaze gave me 400 calories (yea) and 3,000 steps in a 40 minute class. Obviously, I did not have anywhere near that many steps (300 would be more like it), but all the pounding must confuse the step counter. Is there any way to disable the step counter during class? Or go back and edit steps to remove all during that period. I still want my blaze on for heart rate tracking, but I don't want it to overestimate my effort/calories. I want honest information. (Pound class is hitting drumsticks on the ground and each other during  a workout in case anyone is unfamiliar.)

There is no way to disable it. But arms movements like you are doing will add steps on all wrist models.

You could enter a driving record for that period to get rid of the steps. But it will get rid of the calories burned as well.

Your best bet is to not wear it and manually log the activity. You could create a custom one and add the calories burned.
