Problem with heart rate fuction on Blaze

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I am having problems with the heart rate function on my fitbit blaze,  I am on my third fitbit watch as a result of the Heart rate function on the watch,   the problem is,  after it working for a week or two it stops working, at the moment the green lights are not on and when I take it off the green light comes on and when I put it on it goes off...

I have tried updating and turning it off and on and putting it on auto as suggested on the fitbit forum, and the problem still persists,  Please let me know how to fix this problem.

Hi there @alboy44. Great to see you in the Community Forums!

I'm sorry you're having problems getting your heart rate to work properly 😕

Since you've already tried some things, which I appreciate you taking the time to do it, I can suggest probably restarting your tracker and setting it up as a new device. For restarting it, you can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot.

Now, for setting it up as a new device, make sure you sync it and then, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem.

Hope this helps and please let me know if you need anything else!

I started having the same problem overnight. Tried all the suggested fixes as well(ensuring it’s tight enough, switching from auto to on, rebooting). I have not yet tried to set up as a new device. I just don’t understand how that would affect the heart rate function as it seems that it is a device issue not a connection one, since it is the actual device not recognizing the heart rate?
