I thought I was making a wise investment when I purchased my Blaze 3 years ago for $220.00.  It had the features I was looking for.  It helped keep me motivated and I depended on it on a daily basis.   it helped me reduce my stress levels until one day it stopped working.  PM Fitbit I'm told a case would be created on my behalf and the support team would evaluate the problem.    I get no answers to what the problem might be but an offer of 35% off on another watch.  I guess that's why they consider me "part of the Fitbit family"  because I would just buy another watch that is going to last how long?

I feel the company is not being upfront about the problem.  Reviewing the issues on the internet the battery could be the problem the watch stopped working which is difficult to replace.  Reliable products, good honest customer service, and good prices are what keeps customers coming back

Hi @Themotivator  the Blaze was retired in the first part of 2018. Wondered where you paid that much for the Blaze when it was never that much when it was being sold directly from Fitbit. The offer of a discount would be good. Most of my devices lasted at least two years or so, but I did have my Blaze die close to that mark. The Versa series replaced the Blaze. Why not use the coupon and give it a chance? You might be pleased with the new device.

So buy a Versa that's going to last how long?  Admitting your devices last two years or so amplifies inferior products being sold.  The product should be made to be able to easily replace the battery

@Themotivator  many people on the forums have posted about the life of their devices and some Blaze owners had them last five or six years. Everyone seems to have different life span, which I think might be due to how they charge and use them.

The life span could be a lot longer if the batteries were easy to change.  But I guess that is part of Fitbit strategy to sell more watches.   It also explains why they consider me part of the "FItbit family" because we are supporting them
