Question on the Blaze counting steps in stores (pushing cart)

I love the Blaze! I received it as a gift last Christmas and have greatly improved my health, walk nearly every day and lost over 20lbs.

I have one question as we all like to get our steps counted. It appears when you push a cart (like a grocery cart) the steps do not seem to count. I am assuming that is because you are not swinging your arm in a fashion you do when you walk?  So I gave that a try, since the fitbit was on my left arm, I held the carriage with the right and it still wouldn't count steps even with my left arm was moving.

I'm sorry but it is a known fact when holding on to something it will not count steps. When I go to the store I put it in my pocket so I can get some steps.
