First, Received the Blaze on Tuesday. It's a great watch so far and beats the Surge IMHO. It acquired the GPS faster and accurately vs the Surge. Hr tracking is better too. I don't know how many firmware updates that the Surge received and yet didn't even fix the accuracy of the GPS. Connected GPS is fine for me. I carry the Iphone for music and emergency on all my runs.
Cons would be: cheap charger, Hate it when you take it out when you charge (wear and tear) , needs more clock faces. Over all, it's the best Fitbit so far.

@ChaneRZ Nice, thanks for the feedback. Gotta share a pic of your map next time! ![]()
FWIW, I've had the same Blaze charger for months now, and it holds up just fine! I'm sure it will for you. I hope we get more clock faces in the future as well. Keep us posted with how you like it.

No need for the map because it a track. Love the perfect connected GPS tracking of the Blaze. Surge showed I started on the other block.

That map is hilarious, and shows how inaccurate the GPS is for the Surge. I would rather have the connected GPS then the built-in one if it is as poor as that Surge one shown in your map.

stated another way:
- your iPhone GPS is better than Surge GPS
- Blaze HR is better than Surge HR

has anyone tried using map my run on their iphone and compared it to the blaze. I say the blaze is off but not 100%. Been using map my run for 6 weeks and Blaze for about 2 weeks and theirs a half mile difference so far with the blaze. I do like the watch and the features. So far Im just going by the map my run app.

I already returned the Blaze. Steps are under counted and the miles are way off when running above 2 miles.
