I understand that concept (10 foot flights of stairs) and should have been more clear in my original post. The stair flight/altitude function has never worked properly on my Versa 3 and completely quit about a week after I bought it. I've been through just about every help file or suggestion that I've been able to find online and it still does not work. The hole is not plugged, I've checked. It just doesn't work and was defective from the start. I should have returned the Versa 3 but I like using it for everything else so I just kept it. Still, I'm quite frustrated that I didn't get something that I paid for and that is advertised as a function that should work properly.
