Yes, absolutely! I bought a cheap metal mesh bands on Amazon (gold Rose and Brown) and it doesn't vibrate stronger, but it vibrates around my wrist - in other words, the metal band is picking up the vibration - so now it vibrates around 3/4's of my wrist - definitely more noticable. I love every other thing about my Blaze so I am not sending it back - the new band seems to help, and it is just enough for me to notice it. I guess I'll have to buy another Blaze when the come out with a permanent fix, but for now - this works better than with the silicon band. Definitely worth a try.
Interesting - that and the metal mesh band should work fabulously - thanks - I will try that!

Best Answerit never even occurred to me that it was the band--i thought that FB made a magical "adjustment" of some kind without an update? i have been wearing a leather band (tooled silver metallic) and a frame that is black metal, but a different style than the original it covers the top and bottom edges of the blaze--i still feel strong vibrations. perhaps the original open design of the fb frame is affecting the vibration strength. if i have my hand resting on a table and the watch vibrates you can absolutely feel/hear the difference. i gave up setting the morning alarm in April, but i am going to try it again for the am.

Best AnswerI just bought the Charge 2 - upgrading from the Charge HR - because of all of the added silent alarm features. To my dismay, I can barely feel the vibration. The actual fitbit unit is bigger than the HR one - so I don't understand why the vibration is less. AngelaFitBit - What can be done to make it stronger so that this functionality can accomplish what it's intended to accomplish (Alert me!!). thanks, Heather
