Hello @karinagw if your tracker is already setup, and you are just changing phones there is no reason to set it up again. Once the user logs into their account the app has all the info it will need to sync the tracker.

Last Sunday, my daughter's Blaze just flat out stopped working mid-Weekend Warrior challenge.

We have cleared, reinstalled & restarted every possible thing on all the relevant devices we could think of including some that were just dumb but we figured "What the heck".

If people are having syncing issues, it's not necessarily as simple a fix as you stated. There may actually be a legitimate issue.

Hello @karinagw since that thread is about having a fitbit tracker allready setup, and the user has only acquired a new phone, yes it is as simple as what i stated. The thread was never about syncing issues.

Thank you for explaining the confusion caused by hijacking that thread, it is customary to start a new thread when the subject is unrelated.

Have you:

Restarted your tracier http://help.fitbit.com/?q=restart

Restarted the phone

Removed the tracker from the phones Bluetooth settings screen

If the tracker is not turning on than look at http://help.fitbit.com/?q=charging

See http://help.fitbit.com/?q=sync for more help on syncing.

Excuse me. We were trying to repair it to the same phone and kept getting the "rejected by bluetooth message. I was responding to your statement below which is in error. We were getting it repeatedly while trying to install through the app. I may not have made that clear and for that I apologize.

====There is only one reason to the "rejected by bluetooth message", this will always happen when trying to pair the device to your phone and not the account throgh the app.===

You can not pair a fitbit through the phones bluetooth menu. It must be done through the app.

Good god. That's what I said we were doing when we got the pairing reject message....trying to pair through the app. That's why I said your statement about the only way to get it was incorrect.

Done now. Have a lovely weekend.
