Re: What is the highest heart rate the fitbit will read?

Hi! I am using the fitbit blaze. I restarted the tracker and it’s still doing the same thing. After I switch from running to walking, it does not read my heart rate for sometimes more than a minute, The actual heart rate doesn’t make a difference and it’s not sweat. I tested this by running and walking before performing any other exercise and had not sweated it.  Same thing happened. After I stopped running, it took a while to read my heart rate again, and did not show a heart rate until it was no doubt lower. My issue with this is the inaccurate calorie burn and heart rate tracking to be sure I stay at a safe heart rate. I have also found that if it’s not reading my heart rate and I start running again, it does then show a heart rate. But then stops as soon as I stop running again.

Appreciate your time and help!

@lysssss05 It's great to see you in our Fitbit forums! I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Blaze if not tracking your heart rate properly. Please have the Blaze's battery to drain completely. After this, charge your tracker for 3 hours. Finally, restart your tracker several times in a row and monitor your heart rate and see if it gets tracked as it should.

Since you have a Fitbit Blaze, I moved your post to the Blaze board in order to keep the Community organized.

Let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy
