Okay what might have changed in the last week or so?
I have an Android Phone that recently upgraded to 6.0.1 and post upgrade the App appears to not find my Blaze at times and I have to force Sync. At times I get a RED dot and a black message that the app cannot locate my blaze even when they are right next to each other.
Any advice would be appreciated.

This is a great point. Maybe this is the reason my Blaze started saying "phone not found" when starting a GPS exercise. I did an update to my Android Galaxy 6 Edge a week or 2 ago. This does seem to be the same time that I started having issues.

It is very possible that your newer version of Android isn't fully supported by the fitbit app, which causes problems like the one you are experiencing. As long as there is a workaround, until all of the bugs get worked out you may continue to experience that issue in my opinion.

Did you restart the phone since the app update? At the minimum turn off/on bluetooth. This would be necessary if the BT drivers where updated.
I alsp havent had to do it recently, but use to have to delete the app and instaal a fresh copy from the play store.

@Rich_Laue actually I travel quite a bit and am shutting the phone routinely for flight (I am not a Airplane Mode guy)... But it was a good question.
As for the reinstall of the App not wanting to go down that road just yet. Really would hope that a company like Fitbit would have done proper development with regression testing and other testing.
