Red box or phone symbol with line through it

When I use walking excercise there is a red box with a red line across it. I feel like it's not tracking miles correctly. Any ideas what the symbol means?

Hi, @LynzieCox! That symbol means that your tracker is not connected to your phone and using its GPS to more accurately track distance. It's relying on your steps and stride length to calculate the distance of your runs.

A warm welcome to the Community @LynzieCox and @MakMak thanks for stopping by. As our friend here mentioned, that box with a line across means that your tracker didn't connect with your phone. If you want to track your walking, I recommend using the SmartTrack feature which will register your exercise automatically.

Let me know the outcome. Woman Happy

I have found that on android with a lot of apps in memiry,, this happens with both the Blaze and Charge 2.

I swipe the unneeded apps out of memory, but be carefull any in saved data, this is unlikely, could be losr.
