Just saw that the new Fitbit Alta has a "remind to move" feature. What are the chances of this being added to the Blaze? I feel like it would be an awesome addition!

it's been several months, any update? Why did you not update a more advanced watch? I have a Surge as well and that doesn't have it either...

Do you people even read the threads or just post "its been a long time, where is thge update"? Look oin the prior several pages and you will see the answer from fitbit moderators.

I think we do read the thread, the reminder to move will be released worth a future update. Currwntly fitbit is working on several peoblems with the firmware. Rrleasing firmware is not a trivial matter. I suspect thos will be reworded wot am update that fixes several problems.
I know you read the thread Rich, but these people with 1-10 posts that ask the same question that was asked 3 days ago shows that they are not even bothering to read......either that or they are expecting a different answer in just 2-3 days. So the logical answer is people don't bother to read, they just post their question.

That was my point exactly ... it was in February and I did not see an update (very sorry for those of you who don't want to read the one comment I've ever made in this forum)
Fitbit does not have a good reputation for being responsive, that's not my own opinion ... that's from my husband who does research these things, consequently he is looking at the Apple watch for future upgrades to his Fitbit. However, I'm fairly brand loyal. I love my Fitbit and feel grateful for what it's done for me ... so hoping they will learn that good customer service means manageing your customers' expectations and following up in a reasonable amount of time.
Yes, I realize firmware takes some time as well, but keep us updated ... (every three months would not be enough). It costs the company nothing to do this, but generates much good will among the consumer base.

There have been several updates from Fitbit in this exact thread, including on 4/5 (message 67), on 4/26 (message 96), and on 5/24 (message 112). It might not be the update you all want, but to say Fitbit has been silent is not very fair. The moderators have provided a monthly update, but then people get on an ask the exact same question with the same complaint, "fitbit does not listen to customers and is not providing an update", when they have provided updates. Just read the thread instead of asking the same question that was asked 1 week prior with the same response.

How about instead of needing to wade through post after post to find these upates ... let's have a chart somewhere (Fitbit are you listening?), with the project(s) and the current status and last date updated. Wouldn't that be easier? And less frustrating for those of you who are tired of seeing people ask about it?
I'm not finding this particular forum to be very friendly, which is really sad since we're probably all on the same side.

This thread is 7 pages, and many many times they haved said in this thread that they are working on it. As I said before, sit back and get very very comfortable, because it will be be quite a while before you see an addition to the blaze like this.
For Lynbir and Happy, fitbit does have what you have asked for, it is the feature request section, and the reminder to move is in there:
https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Requests/Reminder-to-move-for-Blaze/idi-p/1200961
They have heard you all, and they have said they plan on adding it at some point. The feature request section is how the community can show fitbit they really something, and they do listen on there.

Seiously? This was exactly my point. Every 2 days someone asks the exact same question without evening reading to see when the last update was. Just showed my point.
Kate, read above and you will see that I posted the last 3 updates provided by Fitbit moderators.....don't expect them to reply to every request as that would be a full time job.

I think we should all try not to get so frustrated by people asking. It is a very long thread. I myself asked same question and I had looked for a recent update in the thread. It is easy to miss.
If you find it too frustrating remove yourself from notifications and/or take an extra lap. Endorphins make us happy!
Lets just either anwer nicely with the same information or ignore. People asking same question shows a flaw in the process - Thumper Rule!!:smileyhappy:

Wow, 'you people' are really hostile to 'these people'!
I had no idea the fitbit community was such a nasty place, but hey, that's why most online communities have moderators. Maybe they're all busy working on the firmware update.
I have read through the posts, perhaps not all the pages because, frankly, I've got a life. Next time I want a bit of help, I won't go near the Fitbit forums. You assure me Fitbit watches the posts and listens - maybe they'll listen to this and ask their members to be a little kinder.
Have a great day fellow Fitbitters, and thanks to the one person who showed some manners.

Funny that you attack 'you people' when you really did not read any of the thread at all, you just posted your question, which proved my point in that most people don't read the thread, they just post the exact same questions that someone else posted 1 day prior. All I did was point out that if you read a few posts prior to yours there are links to answers and were to vote, literally the post right before your post.

@Reesey wrote:@HappySnappy was that to me? I was trying to be polite and pleasent with some suggestions, didnt mean to "police".
No Reesey, he was clearly talking about me, which is fine. I simply asked on the top of this page if people bother to read the thread at all or just post the same question over and over. It got a little back and forth, then literally the next post after I posted a link to the feature request section and listing the exact post numbers in this thread where Fitbit moderators provided 2 updates in April and 1 on May.....the VERY next post was a person asking "it's been 3 months, any update". I am sorry if someone took my response as anger, I literally laughed out loud when I read it and thought she posted it as a joke, considering the detail in the prior post.
It just proved my point, that 95+% of people on here don't read to find the answers, they just post the question. WE are all entiled to do that, I really don't have a problem with it, I just asked a question if people bother to read the thread or not, then get a reply that says something like "I have a life so I don't read it all". Hate to say it, but reading the thread, or at least the most recent page would take less time than posting a question and checking back regularly to see if a fitbit moderator responded.
I was not trying to "police anyone" either, I actually helped by provding three exact post numbers of fitbit moderator updates as well as a link to the feature request section and a link to the specific request so people can vote to ask for the feature. If my comment asking if people bother to read the thread offended you, there is probably a reason it offended you, you did not read a single post in the thread.
