Reminder to Move

Just saw that the new Fitbit Alta has a "remind to move" feature.  What are the chances of this being added to the Blaze?  I feel like it would be an awesome addition!

There's a usually a good amount of time inbetween our firmware update releases, @linzy507. You'll be notified in a number of different ways when we implement this feature!

@linzy507 - No update on timeframe for this release yet.  Now that Alta is shipping, I would hope we will be getting an update/patch for this soon.  I am sure they will post on here when it is available.

Maybe C-Net did mention it,  but did ypu check on the specifications listed.

I think going to the source would make more sense, amd i see reminders to move still not listed.

Yes I've seen the first couple of alta reviews and the app move feature is excellent and well designed as usual with the fitbit app. So please fitbit role this out to blaze users

What is a "firmware release" does that mean the softwear will update and my current Fitbit Blaze will have it? Or will it be a new FitBit Blaze?

@hillk32  Firmware update is a release to the existing Blaze.

We don't have newer updates on Reminders to Move. We can assure you that they're coming, and will let you know more information when they're implemented.

I already have the charge HR and the only reason I can see to upgrade to the blaze would be for the move reminders... for me at least.

Does it vibrate to remind you to get up and move?

I got the hourly activity added to my app but I still had to set up alarms as reminder (Charge HR)

OK, so I think I get it now.  We can set and track the hourly goal for 250 steps.  We don't yet have the firmware update that would have the reminder vibration on our Blaze.  

Any idea when that is coming given the app and dashboard update?
