Reset ex partners blaze so i can use it

Hi, I bought my fiance a fitbit blaze, he's decided to leave me and left his fitbit. Is there any way of me resetting it so my daughter can use it?

The best thing to do is have your ex do one last sync. Now set it up as a new device. 

The sync removed the data from the tracker.

Thanks for your reply, but not possible as he has already gone. Is that the only possible way?

If the tracker is still connected to his account. and you have his login details.. You could do the final sync by log into their account. 

If not possible or he removed the tracker from his account, simply set it up as a new device to your fitbit account. You might get a few steps from the movement of the tracker since the last sync .
