Reset my steps halfway through the day

Hi,

My fitbit blaze reset my steps halfway through the day at noon and put everything I did this morning towards yesterday.  I checked the time and it is set correctly. How do I fix this?  It seems to be reseting at noon instead of midnight.

Hi, @MickRizzo, it sounds like you need to check your time ZONE as well as your time.

In your app go to account --> settings --> advanced settings --> time zone and see if it is correct.

If it is WRONG, unclick on "set automatically" to turn that off. and the set it to the correct timezone.  Be sure to sync when you are done.

If it is CORRECT, and you are still having this issue, turn off "set automatically" and choose any WRONG timezone, and sync.  Then choose the correct timezone and sync again.

Some users have reported that updating the timezone in the app is not working.  If this is happening to you, you will need to go to the web based dashboard (there's a link to your dashboard on every page of the Fitbit Community).

Once on the web based dashboard go to settings (that's in the little gear icon on the right) and update your timezone there.  Be sure to save your settings.

Hopefully this will work for you.  Good luck, amd keep us posted.  Welcome to the forums!

Mine is doing the same thing and my time zones are correct. What else can we do to fix the problem?

For the past few days my Fitbit is resetting to 0 steps in the middle of the day. I'll check my steps and I have 3 or 4 dots for completed steps. When I check again within the next few hours my flex is only showing one dot. When I sync my Fitbit to my phone it is also showing 0 steps for the entire day. Is there a solution to this?
