Resting heart rate on app and dashboard don't match

On my app my resting heart rate is almost always 1 bpm lower than what is posted on the dashboard, for current day and past days, even when everythign is synced. Why is there a difference?

Hey there @cduffy25. Welcome to the Community!

Can you try to log out of your app and log back in with the same email address and password?

Also, please restart your tracker by pressing and holding the lower right button and the left one for 10-12 seconds until it restarts and then try to sync it to the app and see if it matches.

Let me know how it goes!

What should we do next if doing both of those things does not correct the issue?

Hi there @Stephankne. Great to see you in the Forums!

It is an expected behavior that the heart rate information that you see on your tracker takes a while to reflect to the Fitbit app but it shouldn't take very long. Is something like this that you're experiencing or is the heart rate information on your tracker and on the app way off? If so, can you give me an example of how it will look on your tracker and what will it say on the app?

It's not too far off...could it be rounding?
example dashboard shows 56 on Monday, but app shows 55.

Oh, I see... thanks for getting back and providing me with that information @Stephankne! 🙂

In that situation, I'd say that's fine. Your app could take a little to catch up with the information on your tracker so you can expect this to happen. As long as the information is not way off, that should be okay.

Let me know if you have more questions!
