Resting heart rate unchanged for 1 week

Hi all,

I have a new Blaze and it has shown my resting heart rate at 53 bpm (no up or down). I first put it on a week ago.

The app just shows a flat line. I have never had this with any other Fitbit before. How likely is it that this is correct and there is absolutely no change in my resting heart rate?

By the way, I have noticed that the online Dashboard shows 54bpm for two days rather than just a flatline.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is the Dashboard right? Is the app right? Is my Blaze defective?

Is it on or off? My resting heart rate is in the late 60's.

I'd rule out all three of those unless you know for certain it's one of them. Doesn't sound like it.

@silentium, I've had periods of several weeks where my RHR reading didn't vary at all; during that time my daily routine was pretty stable so I wasn't at all surprised.  The image below shows such a period, at the end of the period I was ramping up my daily running mileage fairly significantly which caused a temporary rise in my daily RHR.
