Hi everyone
i`m owning a fitbit blaze for 3 weeks now, i`m trying to understand everything about it but there is something i dont understand.
i go to the gym and take the same group lessons there. when i enter on my fitbit that i`m gonna exercise and i choose workout then after the lesson it says i burned around 430 calories.
when i dont enter anything and let my fitbit reconize the workout on its own it says i burned around 330 calories. this happend several times, what going on?
is it better not to choose an exercise and let the fitbit just do the math? i`m really confused about this.

Hi there @Nyna. Good to see you in the Community! 🙂
I would like to know if you're logging your activity from the app or if you're recording your activity from your Blaze. If you're logging the activity manually and it asks you to enter information, the calculations may vary as it's not taking into consideration your real activity but is doing an estimation of it. Now, if you log the activity from your tracker or you let SmartTrack to auto recognize it for you, the calculations will be slightly different because it will take into consideration the real activity picked from your tracker and will give you results based on that.
Hope this helps and if you have more questions, let me know!
