Samsung Galaxy S7 Pair with Do Not Disturb

I was having trouble getting texts from my phone on my Blaze. Calls went through, vibrated, and lit up, but nothing for texts. After reading some other threads I saw that if you have Do Not Disturb on then it'll block texts from going to the Blaze. So I turned that off, but unfortunately my Blaze is charging right now so I don't even know if that did the trick. But regardless, having Do Not Disturb off is annoying as hell. My phone is buzzing nonstop now because there's no way to filter out which apps buzz and which ones don't without Do Not Disturb. At least I don't think there is. Anyone else running into this problem? I really only want calls to buzz and nothing else.

Not sure which version of android your using @E_Evs under the notification settings buzz can be turned off and the volume for just notification may be reduced to just above off.
