Shipping Dates for the Blaze

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Will the Blaze ship directly from the Fitbit website store the day it is released in stores or Amazon? or will they ship days before so it hopefuly or will arrive the day its relased everywhere else? What im getting at is on Amazon, you can pay 3.99$ (with prime memebership) and get free over night shipping there for getting the product WAY before "standard shipping" from the Fitbit website. That is unless Fitbit will ship it ahead of time.

@Rich_Laue sounds like you don't see the benefit of Amazon or shop their. Go pay full price. Whatever. Don't get all offended cause someone isn't going to pay $20 for overnight shipping.

Congratulations. The free trial period is only a month. I'm not sure how it would work in the case of preordering somehthing that ships from them in just over 1.5 months, but you should probably check. All I know is, I am really looking forward to what the blaze has to offer!

And if Fitbit is the only ones who knows the date then maybe they should share that with their customers.

Not sure why it's a big secret.

Life isn't that simple I'm afraid. At this stage, I wouldn't guarantee that even Fitbit knew the date for sure. That would be a good reason for not sharing it!

Exactly. Also no need to assume. I don't pay for Amazon prime currently and will probably end my membership before I do have to pay for it so no need for him to "break it down" to me.

So sorry that I refuse to be like other people and pay over 20 dollars for overnight sleeping. That's ridiculous

Yup and I have preordered my blaze before the free trial ends so that is why it is covered under it. I already got my basis covered. Don't worry about me. Worry about you.

Thanks to everyone involved for their continued participation in this conversation. Let's keep this on track, please. I'll provide a quick summary here:

  • We don't have a defined date for shipping, but we are sticking with March for now. I'll keep everyone updated if something changes, but we're confident that the devices will start shipping then.
  • Amazon is amongst the list of our authorized retailers See a list of some of our retailers here. A lot of the buying experience comes down to preference, but as long as you're purchasing from the Fitbit LLC vendor on Amazon, you'll have the manufacturing/warranty support from Fitbit for 365 days. Learn more here

Thanks, everyone!

Not sure where I'll get my Blaze. Figure it will most likely be Target. Normally Amazon as I have prime which I love but I don't plan on buying it March.

I want to wait and see what people love/hate about them and see if they announce any extra bands soon after launch. Plus I just got a Charge for Christmas and IMO getting rid of it for something better soon after just seems rude to me. Maybe middle Summer or something.

Tentative shipping date is March 6th, I believe. After all the blaze orders have been sent to individuals who preordered through fitbit, then orders will be sent to the certified retailers. Overnight shipping is only 20$ and tax brings the order today to $236. It depends on the person, but I can't wait to be one of the first who step up their wrist game to the blaze!

I have never seen this company ship out pre-orders before retail availability.  If you had access to forum and facebook comments at the release of the Charge and Surge products, you'd see many pre-order customes very irrately point this out.  The fastest way you'll get the produt is through retail store and even Amazon given the company's 5 day window to deliver from product release date.

I agree, nothing against Fitbit but if you want to get the Blaze on launch/very close to launch I'd go  with Amazon. I get everything from them on release or even early sometimes. Doubt Blaze will be early though.

If I buy through Amazon, can I still go direct to Fitbit for warranty or exchanges?

Amazon is an authorized retailer so tes Fitbit will honor the warranty.

For the other convwrsation, No im not offended, i was pointing out that Amazon prime is not cheap, and originally there was no mention of the membership being in the free trisl stage. As for trials i think they are great, especially if you want an item that wpuld allow typy to save big bucks.  It's called playing their system.

The payment is made when the tracker is shipped. Unless when living in New Zealand, then the payment is done when pre-ordering.

To add to @WendyBs answer,, if you pre-order you'll be in the first group to receive the Blaze, and most likely before it gets to you local retailer.
