Hello all,
I just got the firmware update on Monday of this week. From Monday to Tuesday, the app showed me my sleep stages. Now from Tuesday to today (Wednesday), it went back to showing me awake and restless times, as before the firmware update. Anyone else having this issue? Anyone else know how to fix it?
thanks in advance!

Hi there everyone! Good to see you in the Forums!
I'd like to add that for you to see sleep stages on your sleep logs, you must have been sleeping for over 3 hours. Your tracker needs at least 3 hours of sleep data to estimate your sleep stages, so you won’t see sleep stages for shorter naps. This is for you guys to keep it in mind. It happened to me a few nights ago that I did sleep the whole night but I was waking up and getting up from bed every now and then. Not a very good night. And instead of seeing sleep stages, I saw time as restless, awake and asleep.
In general, here are some tips to take into consideration and reasons why you might not be seeing sleep stages on your dashboard:
You will see a sleep pattern instead of sleep stages:
Hope this helps!

Same problem here... thanks for posting. I really liked seeing the stages yesterday. 😕

Exact same issue here. Must be a bug in the firmware?

Same issue. I'm glad it's not just me. I really want to see the cycles.

I believe this is just a side effect of the staggered rollout of Sleep Stages. The Sleep Stage model is very different from the Awake/Restless model, and I'd guess it'll take a few days for it to sort all the way out. I'm seeing reports of it on the Charge 2 forum, so I don't think it's specific to Blaze.

Same here. Really liked sleep stages. Got Tuesday not Wednesday. Good to hear I have company. Hope they get it working again.

I'm having the same problem. It worked fine after the update and the next day it looked just as it did before. I slept over 6 hours and the battery was more than half. Very disappointing.

Same problem here - but different timing. I just purchased my Blaze and started wearing it Saturday 4/1. Love the sleep stages feature.
Sadly - no sleep stages last night. Worked correctly Sunday through Tuesday - but this morning I see 'Sleep Pattern' instead of 'Sleep Stages' for last night. 7 hrs 2 min sleep logged as a single event - so it's not related to the 3 hour minimum.
Particularly frustrating this morning as I do NOT feel rested - and now have a different view of the data as compared to previous nights so cannot gain any insight as to what was different with my sleep pattern last night.

I slept 7 hours, battery is charged and slept "normally". This answer does not seem to fit the issue that multiple people are having with not being able to see the new sleep stages. The new sleep stages has been working for me every day since March 28th. Sounds like more of a bug issue that needs fixed than anything.

Hey there guys @wtszewc @Candlestyx, great to see you in the Forums! 🙂
@Candlestyx, are you still having problems with sleep stages not showing on your dashboard?
@wtszewc, I have a few questions for you... do you by any chance use more than one tracker on your account? If so, which one is it and are you using it to track your sleep or are you only using your Blaze?
Keep in mind that Sleep Stages is only supported for Charge 2, Alta HR and Blaze and if you're using any other tracker to record your sleep, most likely, you will get the old sleep graph instead of sleep stages.

This worked for a week for me too but then after the update 3 days ago hasn't anymore. This is nothing to do with the answer given as I slept for 7 hours. I'm on the beta for Windows Phone BTW Busted !

Stop pretending that this is not a general SW bug at Fitbit !!!
Just read the forum with sevral hundred reports on same issue !!!
Or you can wait some days to see that you will have 1000 and 1000 reports on the same !!!

I'm having this issue also. had the new sleep display for 4 days and yesterday it reverted back to the old style. Whats going on?

Sorry but the 3 hr sleep expaination is not the problem. It may be true, but there are other issues. Mine has been working intermittently. Seems to having nothing to do with how well I slept, if I was charged properly or heart monitor working. There is some other bug. Please continue to research.

Considering that my dashboard is showing that I slept for over 7 hours last night this in not a valid response to today's issue.

just a question - I see the response marked as "solution" and the initial post marked as "resolved", this isn't resolved or a solution is it?

While your explanation about the 3 conditions might be true for a small subset of Blaze users, it does not resolve the problem for a vast majority. I slept for 7 hours, had a fully charged Blaze device, and I slept in a normal comfortable position with the Blaze properly in position. Similar to other users, I had 5 nights of sleep stages data before it reverted back to provide only the sleep quality data(2 nights). This is not a user process issue ... it is a firmware issue. Please ensure that this is reported back to the product developers for a fix instead of assuming that it is a user issue.

@FerdinandFitbit - I do have a FitBit One on my account as well - however that little guy has been missing since October and has not synced since. I am using the Blaze to track my sleep.
I did chat with Melissa in support after I opened this thread - she asked for email attached to my account and spent several minutes looking into the issue - ultimately came back and said Engineering is aware of the problem and working on a solution. I do not know if this references a fix for the widespread issue or just a one-off fix for my account - didn't think to ask.

I slept for nine hours same position as always. I had submitted a ticket two days after the rollout. It worked okay for a few days and now today it is not updated.
