@Wind1600 I'd recommend taking the tracker out of the watch frame, double checking that the side with two buttons is lined up with the side of the frame that has two buttons, and then putting the tracker back in the watch frame.
I've personally made the mistake of putting my tracker into the frame the wrong way where the side of the tracker that has two buttons is lined up in the frame with the side that has one button. After double checking, a restart should help.

I had a similar issue. My buttons stopped working even out of the band. Fitbit has shipped a replacement tracker.
