Stay in the zone when tracking calories

Why is it hard to stay in my zone when tracking calories. 

Im in the zone before bed at 10:00 but when I check on waking I'm under?

Any tips on hitting the zone would be great.

It's great to welcome you @Grimreaper. Could you please be more specific about the tile you are seeing? Are you talking about the calories in vs out tile? If so, are you logging your food?

Yes I am talking about calories in and calories out.

Most of the time I'm in the green zone when I go to bed at 10:00pm but when I wake up at 5:00am I'm under budget? 

How do I manage to keep it in the green zone all the time.
