I don't wear my Fitbit all day just during workouts otherwise it is in a case. There is no movement. I also shut it off. why does say I have burn 1394 calories and have taken 118 steps and everyday it's different numbers?

@Shinebright27, the calories are your BMR calories. As for the steps, if it's getting any vibrations or getting jostled around (say for example it's in a drawer that gets opened and closed), it will probably pick up a few steps. However, this number of steps is trivial with respect to calories burned or any other statistic.
