Wondering if anyone else who does arm curls or bench presses along with other exercise movements has a major increase in steps? With arm curls, i usually set it to workout mode and i've tried without any settings and it always counts every curl as a step taken, when i'm just standing in place. I've had the pebble replaced and i've restarted the unit and no fix. I have it set to non dominant hand and played with the sensitivity and still no solution. I do realize the steps are about 70-75% off on my device, but thats just a whole other issue in itself that I believe FB is working on with firmware updates.

Hi there @EasyE. Good to see you in the Community!
When it comes to your tracker recording steps when you workout with weights, your tracker detects steps with an accelerometer. Everytime you swing your arms this will be recorded as a step so maybe doing arm curls will make your tracker think you're actually walking. This shouldn't count every arm curl as steps though but will count some of them and also the regular steps you take when walking around after you finish a set or things like that.
When it comes to step inaccuracies, our team is currently working to get a fix for this and hopefully we'll have it available very soon.
Anything else you may need, let me know. I'll be glad to help!

I happen to have the same behavior on my Blaze. This is a flaw in the design. It happens even when sleeping and move the arm. This should be corrected by FitBit due to the bad reputation will it brings to the product.
It seems to me that nobody form FitBit has answered back this topic offering a real solution (as working in the firmware to avoid the misreading or an other creative and required solution).
By the way, the solution offered must be fast and sure. Otherwise, the word will be spread and the bad fame for the product will be of the knowledge of the customers. This, for sure, will be very bad for the company.

It's not really a flaw, but the bi product of trying to count leg movements while only looking at arm movements.. Now if the body was made so that the arms only moved when the legs did, it would be a lot easier..
If your arm is moving in a way that the tracker thinks your walking, you could get steps counted.
