Steps show on dates prior to my Blaze purchase

I purchased my Blaze on March 12.  There are steps showing for previous days (March 7-11, all days in that week, essentially).  Whatever - not sure why! But my question is - is there a way to delete those readings?  I can't seem to find that function on the web platform/dashboard.  Thank you.

Thats a good question and yes, but requires you to log the time as driving.

Thank you; I'll do that.  Isn't it strange though, that I didn't even own the Blaze then (purchased new from the store).

Well, I tried to follow the directions provided exactly (below) and although I have the date range, I don't know what "activity menu" is referring to (nothing says explicitly "activity menu"), where EXACTLY do I type in "driving" and although I tried to create a new activity (because I couldnt' find where to selection an activity already called "driving") I don't see anywhere to click on "Log Activity" as stated below (unless I try to create a new one - and then it required me to enter calories).  Fitbit needs to create a way to delete activities that are, for some inexplicable reason, recorded on my dashboard prior to my purchase!  PLEASE!  And, by the way, I'm not stupid and I can follow directions, when they're clear and obvious - these aren't!

Thank you!!  Yes, it's possible on the app on my phone - but the directions provided by Fitbit were inaccurate for that (online or on the app).  Still, not a great solution to something that should be simple.  Thanks again, I appreicate your help.
