Stopwatch and exercise function

I am unable to use the stopwatch while recording a fitness activity at the same time. Is there a way to be able to use the stopwatch function while the exercise activity is being recorded in the background? Is it possible to be able to use both at the same time and toggle between the two?

Hey there @Weights. I'm glad to see you in the Community! 🙂

 

Right now, you will be able to use the stop watch and count down features and exit them to go to a different screen but if you're recording an exercise activity, you will not be able to exit while still recording to use the stop watch or count down timer.

Will this be rectified?  This kind of defeats the purpose of using the stopwatch and countdown features. Obviously you're exercising if you're using that.  On one of my run days I do intervals and because of this I can't get a pace or a total mileage. 😠
