Over the past few days I have noticed that while I sleep I have been seeing that I have a random dip, or spike in HR while I'm sleeping soundly. The dip is something from to the effect of 60-48ish and a spike from 55-70ish. While sleeping I hover between mid 50's and low 60's normally, so these dips and spikes seem odd. I don't have a history of heart issues and have had several EKG's in the past and none of them were abnormal. Anyone have a similar experience or know what could be going on?

@Surprize It could be occurring while you are in REM sleep. Typically when in R.E.M., your heart rate is elevated and breathing is faster.

I test a lot of people with Thought Technology equipment for their ANS responses to their HRV. What you are experiencing could be ectopic beats. For example premature ventricular contractions.
