Sudden heartrate issue after perfect performance

Hey y'all,

I've had my blaze for two months now and love it. One of the reasons I've been happy with it is I found the heartrate monitor more reliable and accurate than my Charge HR. My Charge sometimes would stop reading my heartrate during workouts, and even after cleaning, readjusting, and repositioning, it just seemed to have no rhyme or reason as to when it would do this.

My blaze, however has been performing perfectly...until today. This morning, mid-workout, it kept losing my heartrate, or if it picked it up, it was severely lower than reality, which I confirmed with another HR monitor (Like showing 128 when it was nearly 160). Even after cleaning, repositioning, etc. the problem persisted.

The only thing that's changed in the past 24 hours is that I updated the app on my iPhone, but I don't think that would affect the blaze itself, right? And FYI, my blaze firmware is up to date.

Any ideas?

Hi there @Bayoumama. Good to see you in the Community! 😄

I don't think that any updated is affecting the performance of your heart rate either so what I can recommend at the moment would be to restart your tracker a couple of times by pressing and holding the left and lower right buttons for 10-15 seconds and then try it out for the rest of the day and see how it goes.

Also, just to make sure, I provided some advice to improve the heart rate readings on a post where someone was having similar problems. You can check it out to see if this makes any difference. Click here to see the post.
