I have been having the similar sync issues as others who posted here, and support said that it is an Android issue. Have others heard the same?

Pixel has been verified as fully compatible with the Fitbit app and devices, so compatibility should not be the issue. We looked into this further and confirmed that our team is aware an ongoing syncing hiccup with Android Pie and is working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible.
