Swapping Bands Often on the Blaze

Hello!

First, I'm very happy right now with my new Blaze.  I was one of the unfortunately people who had skin irritation with the Surge, so the ability to have a metal or leather band was perfect.

I do have a question with regards to wear and tear on the Fitbit if you switch out bands often.  In my case, I plan to use the elastomer band when working out, then switching it out to the leather for during the day and overnight (when I want to track HR and steps only).  Therefore, I'll be swapping it between bands a couple of times a day.

Will that be an issue, or is it meant to take that "abuse"?

@DBDude I've had the same Blaze frame and bands for a while, switching them out pretty frequently. Mine has put up pretty well against the removal/replacement of the band and frame. I'm sure you'll be fine, but we're always on standby to help if something goes awry!

I'm thinking that since the leather band has its own frame. Which is seperate from the frame that came with the Blaze, you would be switching frames (think of a mount or holder) and not switching bands on a single frame.

That's correct, but as both frames are metal my concern is wear on the buttons from popping the Fitbit in over and over again (even if done correctly)

The buttons don't stick out past the edge of the Blaze, i just checked mine before putting it into its charger

Can I get just a metal frame replacement or do I have to buy a whole new setup?

@Campeau2010

The metal frames aren't sold separately, though since mentioning needing as replacement, did the frame broke? When under warranty, the support team can be contacted..

Feel free to contact the Fitbit Support Team (Click / Tap here to contact)

Optionally check out Returns & Warranty before contacting support.

No it didn't break but I received a metal wrist band for the blaze but it doesn't have a metal frame and I was hoping I could buy one so I don't have to keep switching them out.

That's mysterious @Campeau2010

The Metal Band has to come with a frame of it's own.. even if the frame was separately sold, no need to purchase separately since the frame is normally included with the band.. (of course it's up to Fitbit to decide regarding replacements)..

The support team can be contacted when desired:

Maybe a 3rd party band which are available and the ones I've seen don't come with a frame.
