Switched on Fitbit blaze this morning and it has added on yesterday steps.

I have switched my fitbit blaze on this morning and already stated I have done 15,000 steps. I don't wear it at night so this can not obviously be right.

But yesterday was the first time I reached 13,402 steps, so when I have logged on to view my dashboard this morning it has added on my steps from this morning to yesterday total steps. I have added it all up and it seems it has done this. Is there anything I can do?

I have done a re-set.

Hi there @Mannib. Great to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂

Did you by any chance turn off the tracker during the night and turned it back on in the morning? If you did, when the Blaze is off and comes back on, you will need to sync it to make sure that the time updates. Otherwise, the time will stay where it was when you turned it off and will go from there and things like these could happen.

I would recommend not turning off the tracker at night for it to keep track of the correct time and for it to make the correct change of day at midnight and in the morning, sync it as you would normally do. That should help.

Let me know if you need more help with this!

Hi Ferdin

You are right that is what I did. But since that day I have kept the fitbit on during the night even though I don't wear it and the problem has not happened again. But thank you for your help! 🙂
