Sync is always a day behind?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I don't use the all day sync just to preserve battery life.   Every morning I wake up and sync.   But my sync always seems to be a day behind.

Example -   Just sync'd up and yesterday shows me at 184 steps.   And no sleep data.  But Wednesday is now loaded.   (Today is Friday).    When I sync tomorrow morning (sat) my 14k steps from Thursday will sync.  With sleep data and everything.

Tried the reboot the device but this day late syncing seems to be the norm for me.    Not the end of the world, just a pain.

Ive only had my blaze for 8 months or so and already had them swap it out once for burning through charges in about 4 hours.   They were pretty easy about the swapping.  So that was good.

Thanks for any insight.

Update.   Just to see what would happen I closed and opened the app a couple times and after the 4th try  it finally syncs up yesterday.      Again, not the end of the world but I don't believe I should have to sync multiple times to get data.

It's great to have you here @Jason5218! It's pretty weird what's happening with your syncing. I would like you to make sure that you have the latest app version which is 2.37 for iOS and 2.52 for Android. Additionally, provide me with a screenshot of what you're seeing in your Dashboard. Are you seeing the same information in your online Dashboard?

Sylvia, yes I have the most update app.

screen shots below.   You can see my Friday morning sync.  My Friday steps are accurate while my Thursday steps still show a couple hundred, which I had when I did my sync yesterday.   Wanted to mention that this isn't just impatience.   I do wait for the bar to make it all the way across on the sync and I have gone in and out of the steps breakdown multiple times.   I close the app and sync again, poof, my 9k from yesterday.  You can see from the time stamp on the screen shot it was 7 minutes of waiting.

just always seems a day behind.   I also notice that my Fitbit is blinking red for the battery, almost dead.    While the app shows about 40%.

Thanks for any and all insight Sylvia.

Hello again.

this thread resulted in someone from customer service reaching out to me and offering to swap out my blaze.    They did that at no charge, which was great.     But the new one is doing he same thing.   Last night I did a sync and my steps were right at 22k.      Sync this morning and my steps are where they were yesterday when I woke up.   I went out of the app several time and let it sy

this is my third blaze, you guys have swapped me out twice which is great.   But ultimately shouldn't this thing just work?

After a couple more tries it finally syncs.   Based on the time on the pics this was about 13 minutes of messing around with this to get it to sync.  IMG_1491.PNG

If I don't open the app at least once a day, my blaze doesn't sync. I should not have to do this. I never had to do this before and when i try to sync, it takes forever. I have tried 3xs and it still hasn't synced not only that but I have no data for the past 3 days.....do you know why?!!! because I didn't look at the app all weekend. So, now when I get my weekly progress report it will be worthless because of the blaze not syncing. the last time it synced was June 29th @ 10:58 pm. Tried to sync just now and still not syncing. I will not be buying another fitbit! So disappointing!!

It's great to have you here @SunsetRunner! I would make sure that you have all day sync option on. Your Blaze should sync automatically without you opening the app.

There's also the setting called "always connected" that will enable always connected to improve reliability of device syncing, notifications, and related Bluetooth connectivity. To enable it, just go to your app > tap on your Blaze tracker > find all day sync and always connected.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for getting back @SunsetRunner! I would like you to provide me with more details about what you're experiencing:

- When was the last time your Blaze synced?
- Do you still have to open the app to sync your tracker?
- Do you have the latest version of the app which is 2.73 for Android?

Keep me posted.
