Syncing issues with new Samsung S8

My Blaze will not sync with my new phone. The Samsung S8 or S8+ are not on the list of compatible devices.  I know it's a new a new phone but this needs addressed ASAP.  Lots of people rely on these notifications. Please work on this issue.

Well mine still doesn't work.  My fit bit blaze still won't connect with my Samsung galaxy s8 plus. This sucks. If i new this was gonna be an issue i would have kept my s6 phone. 

Feeling very disappointed no one can solve this problem.

It’s a blaze issue. Gave my son my old blaze ,because I thought it was broken. It works on his phone. Motorola. Now I’m stuck with his altar. Uh

I also have the fitbit blaze and s8+ every thing works expect notifications when I get a call or text

My steps and so forth work . Not my texts ,calls or notifications. I'm so frustrated

I've heard it's down to samsung,it works on my wife's a3 2016

I have the blaze and s8 and it works fine now. Has it's moments but over all fine now

I'm not sure Samsung would be willing to send out an update to all the S8 phones, so that they'll work with the few that are trying to synch with a Blaze. I think Fitbit have erred badly in saying they are compatible. 
I reiterate my solution - got rid of the Blaze and bought a Samsung Gear S3. Now I have no problem at all.

@Aggies35 can't get to work is not very descriptive. 

What are you wanting to do, where is the failure and is there any error meddshes?

S8+ won't receive my text messages, calls or apps. It will let me know my steps,sleeping mode etc....

@Aggies35 that is not a sync issue. Are notifications turned on on the Blaze? Is everything setup in the app? When you look at the phones Bluetooth do you see the BlAze as a trusted device?

Just bought the blaze, have read all of the forum posts and tried everything, enabled everything, paired, synced, restarted, deleted and reinstalled app, deleted and re-added blaze, I still cannot receive texts on my s8. This is ridiculous. How is this not fixed yet.

Issues with connecting my Samsung Galaxy S8! Tried everything listed on the Fit bit forum, no go! Tried impairing, installing app, start from the beginning, no go! Very frustrating to say the least.

Exactly. I feel your pain. I was so disappointed.  Very. I even talked to fit bit thinking it was something with there blaze. They were even  nice to send me a new one. That was not the problem. It's the phone.

I actually ended up going back to my iPhone because it was incredibly frustrating. Haven’t had an issue since synching it back to my iPhone.

@Aggies35 set the notifications up make sure you get notifications on the lock screen. 

Does your tracker a show as connected under the Bluetooth settings, this needs to happen 

Wait for the app to pair your tracker, you can not do this step. 

Also there is a bone issue that is preventing some S8s from sending notifications.

What is not happening and do you receive an error message?

All I can say is be patient. Just keep checking your phone for updates. It took a little while for mine to update. It took about a month and my phone finally did an update and that's when my blaze started to work. After that I finally started receiving all my text messages, calls, and apps .
