Text messages won't come through my Blaze

I can get all other notifications to work except text messages won’t come through.  All settings are turned on and the Blaze was synced.  What am I doing wrong?

I’ve just moved from a Surge to a Blaze. My Surge used to give me text notifications but stopped after an iOS update (as reported by a lot of people). Having transferred to Blaze I get notifications for absolutely everything EXCEPT text messages however I’ve discovered why having recently bought my son a Blaze. He has the same watch and phone as me but noted that he was getting text notifications and I wasn’t? The only difference was in the iPhone settings. I had my text message preview to off and his was set to on. Once I changed mine to on I started receiving text messages on my Blaze again!!

On iPhone it’s Settings - Notifications - Messages. Make sure everything is on and at the bottom make sure Show Previews is set to Always (Default)

I tried all that you recommended and I still don’t get my messages and calls to show up on my blaze. I know it’s an older model blaze which I didn’t use for some time. I charged it and updated everything and I have an iPhone. Any thoughts on how to fix this??
