I have a FitBit Blaze and am using it with my Galaxy S7 Edge. I can choose to receive notifactions for text messages from messenger, chomp SMS, Hangouts, WhatsApp, etc., but I have to choose one. My sister just got a Blaze on her iPhone 6 and she doesn't have any choices to choose a text messaging app. Is this because iPhone gets notifications from all apps, or because iPhone is limited to only getting texts from iMessage? I'm curious to see if iPhone is better because it gets notifications from all apps or if iPhone is worse because it's limited to just iMessage. Also, I really hope FitBit allows android to get notifications from multiple sources because I use chomp SMS for texting but also use Google Hangouts and would love to get notifications from both.

A warm welcome to the Forums @bmack. Actually, both devices have the option to receive various texts notifications, on the iOS Fitbit app you just need to go to notifications then to app notifications and there you can select which notifications you would like to receive.
If you need anything else, let me know.

Can the Charge2 also receive notifications from multiple messaging apps? It seems to make me choose only one.

There are different messaging platforms used by various businesses, like the one you have mentioned in this post. But they usually don’t have cross-platform messaging options. The texting app that I use for my business sms is very useful in this regard, as it conveniently supports the sending and receiving of messages between multiple platforms.
