Text notifications now showing properly on Blaze

I have sms set as default notification & I receive notification of new message but not sender or content.  I have wattsapp as a application notification and this does show sender and message content.  Is there something I have missed.spent hours searching for solution. I have Samsung S5.

Hey there @Ali45. Glad to have you in the Community Forums! 🙂

This happened to me before with the whatsapp notifications. I'm not quite an expert with Android devices, but you could go to your sms and make sure in the settings that if there's an option to show the message preview, it is enabled. Basically, your tracker is a mirror of your phone, whatever you see on your phone when it comes to notifications, is the same you'll see on your Blaze as well.

The problem is when your phone is lock mode, then your notifications need to be turned on for messaging even when locked.  I couldn't read Texts on my android until I changed 2 settings on my phone:

Settings (general phone settings) >App>Messages>Notifications>

Allow Notifications>ON

On Lock Screen>Show Content

Also,

Open Messages>Tap 3 dots at top>Settings>Notifications>

Popup Display > ON

Preview Message > ON
