As we all now recognise the last software update for the app was a disaster and has in real terms turned by Blaze into a watch. The support page has nothing to offer beyond the often repeated advice to "reboot" and "check your settings". This I assume is a corporate choice to avoid having to deal with the actual issue, that the app is now as good as useless and many people's Fitbits are now unusable.
The question is of course obvious, how do we all return to the old app software and regain the use of our Fitbit devices.
Note to moderators - please don't refer me to the same old files that we both know do not work.

If you just wanted to vent, that's okay, but:
I'm not a moderator, but there's no way I could refer you to "the same old files", when you don't give any indications about what your problem is.
Perhaps you are making a bit of an exaggeration that "we all now recognise the last software update for the app was a disaster". But you don't even specify which software version you are talking about. Perhaps it is an erroneous assumption that everybody is using the same app version to know what you are talking about.

To an extent you are right, I was venting. Weeks of frustration with what Fitbit consider 'customer service' will do that to a person. For me the problem is solved, I have given up with Fitbit and bought an Apple Watch and in simple terms it is a revelation. Superb product, excellent functionality, reliable synchronisation and first class customer service. After owning three personal Fitbit devices and having bought them for family as presents I am lost to them as a customer but as my son is still experiencing the same problems as me I intend to keep highlighting their failures. Outside of our personal data which I know has value I cannot imagine my Google bought them.

I'm pleased you found something that works well for you. Keep on stepping, or whatever exercise you are doing.

The issue needs to be resolved!! My Blaze will not receive texts, or emails, it will vibrate and say incoming call when I am calling someone, then when someone is calling me it does nothing.. This is beyond frustrating. I have deleted and reinstalled the app. I’ve done everything I’ve been told to try. When will this issue be fixed? I bought this blaze for the features and now it’s useless.

UPDATE
Fitbit support has finally got back to me and they have decided that the problem is nothing to do with them and it's all the fault of my phone. What they are basing this on I have no idea as they have never asked what phone I am using and why my phone just suddenly became "incompatible" despite being on the approved Fitbit list I have no idea. Clearly just more Fitbit support lies.
Good luck to anyone still using Fitbit - you have my sympathies.

Oh my gosh same problem here!! Watch buzzes with incoming call when I’m calling someone or talking to them and does nothing when someone calls me. Happened way back in early October after the Apple phone update and still hasn’t been fixed!!??

Same problem. I’m missing my text alerts and I’m hating the fact that my Fitbit vibrates when making a call and also after I have answered a call. Really missing the features that I bought the watch for. Response from Fitbit was an email of a list to do. Did it all, still no luck. Sad as I didn’t want to get an Apple Watch but looking that way now.......

I'm having the same issues!
Earlier today i was in a live chat with one of the customer service reps. They assured me that these issues will be resolved in the next app update. I was a little skeptical of this reps claims so i made sure to get a complaint/ticket number as well as download a copy of the chat transcript.

That’s great to hear but I wish they would hurry up! Why did they change something that already worked well!!!

Mine acts crazy! It’ll buzz quickly when I call someone which drives me nuts in it self, but sometimes it’ll vibrate for the length of an incoming call like I missed the call and it rang 4 times! But I called them! Then it decides when it wants to if it wants to receive texts... ugh!

Fitbit just pushed an app update out today 3.11 which seems to have fixed the constant vibrating for me.
When i place a call i get a little notification that says active call.
When i have an incoming call and answer it it will still vibrate for 20 seconds after its answered, but then it stops. As i was just testing it out i only stayed on that call for 2 min 30 seconds and it didn't start vibrating again.
I hope you guys find similar results with the update!

I too have the notification issue.
you mentioned the 3.11 update. Mine is 3.10 and it states that it is up to date. Now what? Any suggestions?

@Gmommy Is it the fitbit app telling you 3.10 is up to date or was that something you got from the app store?
What i did was manually go into the Apple app store and check for updates. I think apple made it a little weird as you don't see the updates unless you are actually looking.
What i would do is navigate tot he apple app store on the phone. In the top right corner you either have a blue symbol or an account picture tap that. Then from the middle of the account screen swipe down. From top to bottom (where it says your name and below don't actually touch account). You should see it refresh and if you go further down hopefully the Fitbit app update is there.
Good luck!
