Third-Party Bands?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

With the Blaze's versatility of being a removable module, I'd really like to see some third party developers get creative with an assortment of different bands/frames, or maybe even different types of housing for the blaze (like something that's just a clip if you didn't want to wear it on your wrist). Did anyone see/hear of anything like this? The only accessories I can find right now are the ones made by Fitbit, which surprises me. I'd really like to find a canvas band, or one that has a frame that is some color other than silver (like black or gold).

Is the Fitbit hr better then?

What do you mean, the ChargeHR?  I would get the Blaze with the regular band since it is cheaper.  There are countless third-party providers of bands and frames of all colors that have been shown to have great quality at about 1/5 the cost.

@Fands i don't understand your saying Costco honors the return even though they dont manufacture the pebble, wouldn't Costco honor the Fotbit warranty?

i was speaking about the BLAZE not the pebble..costco does not even sell thePebble (yet).  Costco honors the customer a lot more than other vendors (including fitbit)...If you are not happy, they give you your $$ back plain and simple.  if you bought something at costco.com, you can also just return it to the store.

if anyone is thinking of buying the Blaze, i would recommend them buying from Costco because of their own return policy

You can say the same about BJs and Best Buy, and even Walmart/Sam's Club.  I prefer the actual stores so I can return it easier if I am not happy.

I purchase online when i dont see it in the stores. But you can return to local store if you purchased on line too..( much easier).

I am trying to put mine on but I cannot do so. I've looked at the videos, how-to's, and everything. How do you put it on?

To attach a new band....( from someone who learned the hard way--my fingers were sore-- it took me hours), i took to local jeweler. Use your eyebrow tweezers, go in from the bottom, push with the flat top end.
Use your cheap tweezers, no the Tweezermans...you could ruin those expensive tweezers! Lol

I have the Bayite Camel leather band which I Heart and I just got the red leather version. It's not a true bright red but nonetheless very classy and a perfect match for the Blaze . They are very affordable. Got mine from Amazon.

I went from the Charge HR to the Blaze and find it tracks just as well as the Charge HR.  I LOVE my Blaze!

i unloaded a truck and proccessed said truck the magnets are pretty strong so far, i'll stick to the silly-cone one for work. I just wish the frames had more of a lip so I could use a gorilla glass type cover i've had 3 of those and they all shatter on the edges... or get pulled off.

I wonder whether we'll start seeing bands on Amazon with the new narrower/tapered design.

Ebay probably already has them. I haven't looked yet, but will. bad part with ebay, is that shipping and delivery can take awhile.

I have some different bands from Wearlizer from Amazon.ca that I got to review, including the silicone and milanese bands. Good prices and I really like the quality, I'll try to attach some pictures.

I got metal milanese band finally, it looks better than default rubber band and one more benefit (as was mentioned on forum)- metal band makes vibration strength more noticeable.

Same here - the black milanese design is absolutely brilliant.  Doesn't pinch my skin like the standard strap did!

I love my Milanese band and get compliments on my Fitbit when she wear it. Good choice.

My melanese band won't stay connected to the frame.. The pin to release sticks out so 4e that it grabs the skin. When the watch gets moved slightly the pin gets released. This happens about 1.5 times a day.

So how do you keep it on the arm?
