With the Blaze's versatility of being a removable module, I'd really like to see some third party developers get creative with an assortment of different bands/frames, or maybe even different types of housing for the blaze (like something that's just a clip if you didn't want to wear it on your wrist). Did anyone see/hear of anything like this? The only accessories I can find right now are the ones made by Fitbit, which surprises me. I'd really like to find a canvas band, or one that has a frame that is some color other than silver (like black or gold).

I received this band in white today. It's very nice. The plastic is more flexible than the FB original--not sure whether that's good/bad/indifferent as I find the FB original band very comfortable, as is this one. It changed out quickly and I'm happy with my purchase.

Well, I finally got the black leather band I ordered March 24th. I got a brown band from the company first by accident. (They sent the wrong one) They already sent the correct one. So, that is 2 bands I have gotten from the same shipping location (but different company - aa-store) as the toopoot milanese bands, but I have still not gotten the toopoot band I ordered on the same day at the same time...

Bummer to hear about Toopoot, I ordered 2 of their colored frames and a band from them last week.
I did get this leather band today, finally, from China on ebay. I ordered it on March 29, so I guess that is better than Toopoot.
Even though I do like it a lot, there are 2 things to consider here with this style, which I believe no one has shown yet on here. First, the pins are standard traditional pins, no slit in band and a nice easy little lever to push down on like others, so this one is a pain in the booty to get on. Once I had it in place it has been secure all day and I have no worries of it falling out.
Second, it is 2 pieces, meaning the long seection can or possibly could fall through the loop in the short section. This is not the case with the malinese mesh loop magnetic bands.
A positive though is that the magnet is much longer on the long arm than the little magnet on the malinese loops, which provide a little smoother fit. Very nice, worth the money for sure.

Have you gotten all of your order from Toopoot yet?

the silver mesh band i purchased with the frame attached from UMtele...I paid $49.00...it is now selling for $28.00! $21.00 less. if anyoneis considering it, it is identical from the original blaze frame, at least to me, same weight, perfect fit.

Bummer that you paid so much more. I'm tempted to order, but I don't need another silver band 🙂 Does the band detach from the frame? It might be worth it for the frame.
Has anyone ordered one of these? The price seems too good to be true and you know how that goes...

That is what we get for wanting something so early before there were more sellers. Some of the mesh malinese loops are $10, and they are all identical.

Which one, just about all styles come in 4 or more colors now.

I meant I wish that the housing was sold on other colors other than the silver. I assumed that you had to buy silver with the bracket thing. Do you have a choice?

depends on who you buy from. Fitbit only offers the silver, but third party sellers now have several different frame colors.

I don't think they are necessarily identical. The Oitom bands I have are superior in quality to the Omita band I ordered and received a refund on because it was defective. The quality itself of the Omita band, aside from the defect, was lower than the Oitom. I don't have experience with any other brands.

you are correct---the toopoot mesh i ordered a MONTH ago is still not here. the omita i have never used since i opted to buy from the company prime seller (Umtele) and the frame was attached.
HOWEVER!!! the prime seller on amazon (UMtele) is now selling black frame and mesh band along with gold frame an mesh bands...delivery tomorrow so i will post about it. i ordered the gold since i have a black mesh with a frame i attached to it. (they had better NEVER change the blaze size to fit in the frame since i have 4 now).
the price for both frame and band attached is $36.90 with prime ship. 92 4.5 star reviews from this seller.
my wish list is blue matching frame and band.

I got the leather magnetic band for $7 on ebay and it is my favorite by far, I have grey and red now. The malinese loop I got from V-moro is perfect. My point was that Fands paid so much, like me, to get a third party one so early, but I don't regret it. You have to expect to pay more up front and early knowing that the price will drop qauickly over time.

The one I do regret is the leather band from FitBit. Mine is too big. That price tag hurts

What I must say about the 3rd party leather bands, it that they do not have the same quality of clasp as the official Fitbit ones. I ended up buying a Fossil brand leather strap for $20, 23mm, not the same quick release pins, but very nice and secure

I received the JETech band that I posted about earlier. It is identical to the fitbit stainless steel band and it is really nice, but really heavy. Think I might go looking for a nylon NATO style band. Wish my Toopoot frame would get here already.

I regret that $100 as well as that is the only band I don't wear right now.
I am not sure about the third-party clasps, all of my third-party are magnetic, the steel and the leather, and I love them!
