Hi guys I need some help. Iv noticed on my clock face on my new Fitbit blaze the steps are really time lapsed and don't add up continuously when I walk. They add up in a bolus amount just before the light dims again....does this make the step in accurate? My Fitbit HR use to count it continuously and it seemed more accurate.should I return it and get it replaced??

You don't need to count to 1000, 100 or 200 are fine.
I auggest start on the left, then count every right step to 100 then stop. You now have walked 200 steps.

Have ypu done a step counting test yet?

Use exrrcise mode and walk a set steps while counting then in your head,  stip and compare with the tracker.  My Blaze gave me 5 too many steps onver a 1000 step count.

As for the delay,  could it be becaise the tracker wasps foe 5 steps before beginning to count,  it does still add these steps.  Also the Blaze screen uodate rate doesnt seem to be as fast as t he Charge is. This will also add a delay,  but even wroth the Charge when i speed walking I could watch the steps catch up.

I will go for a walk after dinner and go to exercise and select walk and push play....I will do what you said and count the steps in my head and compare.

Did you count to a 1000?

Also is it normal for the battery when it's charging to see the battery symbol then it go to the face clock but still show its charging from the little icon??
