What are some tips on pushing a Wheel Chair and still getting your steps counted?  I would like a way to be able to put the tracker around my ankle but it wont fit.

Interesting question, @SunsetRunner. When pushing my Dad, or a shopping cart, or stroller, I simply put my Fitbit in my jeans side pocket, resting on my hip. My purse works just as well because it is an across the body shoulder type so it bounces a bit with each steep.

Got to get those steps in!

Hi there @SunsetRunner. I'm happy to see you in the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

As @SunsetRunner mentions, for you to be able to get the most accurate data out of your tracker, you need to keep it moving in step-montion like movements. For this, I think the best solution would be the one she suggested of putting the tracker on your pocket to make sure the step movements will be recognized by the tracker but this will not let your tracker measure your heart rate. Now, if this will not be for a long time, I don't think there will be a problem with it so that should work.
