Toggle direction/color to turn on

I'm trying to get notifications and can't get it to work. The only thing I can figure out is maybe I'm confused about the toggle direction. When I toggle a selection to the right, it turns red. When I toggle to the left, it's gray. Is red/right on and left/gray off?

To the right and red is on, also go to your Blaze and its music control screen. Make sure notifacations are turned on there. Then check here for setup instructions.
